Vardy off the mark for England

Jamie Vardy scored his first goal for England as Roy Hodgson’s side over-turned Germany’s 2-0 lead to win 3-2 in Berlin on Saturday night…

Vardy had only been on the pitch for three minutes when he netted the equaliser with an audacious first goal for his country.
Nathaniel Clyne’s cross from the right saw Vardy connect at the near post with a back-heeled flick that gave Manuel Neuer no chance.
Eric Dier sealed a morale-boosting victory in the 91st minute, that will have given Hodgson plenty to think about as Euro 2016 approaches.
