Nigel Pearson is expected to be confirmed as the new boss of Leicester City in the next couple of days…
There were reports yesterday that Pearson had requested that he be allowed to talk to his former club after Leicester’s initial overtures were rejected by Hull.
City’s owners are said to have offered Pearson wages of £800,000 a year which would be doubled should he gain promotion to the Premier League.
He would also have £8M to spend in the January transfer window.
Hull are already said to be seeking a replacement, targeting MK Dons boss Karl Robinson, which seems to indicate that Pearson is on his way back to the club he left in 2010.
