The takeover of Leicester City, fronted by Aiyawatt and Vichai Raksriaksorn, has finally been approved by the Football League.
Leicester City became the first club to pass the new, more stingent test and a Football League statement read:
“We warmly welcome the new owners of Leicester City to The Football League. We also thank the new owners and club officials for their full cooperation during the review process that has now been completed.”
Milan Mandaric remains chairman for the time being.
