Former England coach Sven Goran Eriksson was unveiled as City’s new manager at a sunday morning press conference…
Just two days after Paulo Sousa’s dismissal Sven Goran Ericksson was confirmed as the new manager of Leicester City.
The 62 year old Swede commented: “The ambition of the club attracted me. I met the chairman and the owners a couple of days ago and they explained to me what they wanted to do. I want to manage in the Premier League again, that’s why I’m here.”
Whether he will have time to realise this ambition before Filbert Way’s revolving door spins again only time will tell.
Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn said: “We are delighted to welcome Sven to Leicester City Football Club. This is a great day for everyone associated with the club and we are very proud to have Sven as our new manager. In Sven, we have a world-class leader for our team and for our club. His record within the game is tremendous and he has the ability, knowledge and pedigree to take this club forward and in to the Premier League.”
