Two Great Men…

A meeting of two great men in December 1923…

Liberal parliamentary candidate Winston Churchill comes face to face with Leicester City striker Arthur Chandler before a 4-1 win against South Shields.
The pair suffered mixed fortunes, with Chandler bagging  a hat trick, whereas Churchill was booed by the crowd.
