Wigston-born Howard Riley played 193 league games (182 of them in the old first division) on Leicester’s right wing. He also played in two FA Cup Finals (1961 and 1963), a European campaign  (1961/62) , and was in the Leicester side which won the League Cup in 1964…

In 1954/55, whilst a student at Kibworth Grammar School, Howard won three England youth caps against Ireland, Scotland and Wales. This is the crest from one of his Youth international shirts…

…This is the actual shirt worn by Howard for the 1961 FA Cup Final v Tottenham Hotspur…
