Gradel On Target For Leeds Again

You wonder if we will ever see Max Gradel in a Leicester shirt again after his latest exploits for Leeds…

The 21 year old, who recently extended his loan to the Elland Road club, came off the bench to score a superb 89th minute winner against Leyton Orient last night.
A poor display by Leeds was forgotten as Gradel received the ball on the edge of the area, twisted and turned past three defenders like an eel, and unleashed a shot from 12 yards that found the top left hand corner.
This is the sort of flash of genius we know the 21 year old is capable of, but we have not seen it often enough in a royal blue shirt and there appears to be no place for Max in Nigel Pearson’s side.
The pressure will grow on Simon Grayson to sign Gradel on a permanent basis if he keeps up this level of contribution to Leeds’ promotion push. His current loan period expires on January 2…

they don’t play him from the start though. leeds are a big strong team – you wonder if there’s a place in their system of a little tricky ball-player, or whether he’s seen as an impact player off the bench if Plan B is failing [as it was last nite]
the fans at leeds certainly love him…

i certainly hope that he comes back to us.
